Composed almost entirely of maritime pine, the Landes forest is a man made creation, originally planted to halt soil erosion by the sea.
Tunstall Forest is located near the Suffolk coast in an area known as the Sandlings.  It is purported that UFOs have landed in this area on more than one occassion.
The banks of the River Alde, Suffolk, are home to many of these dead trees.
